| Description: Announcing AUDITIONS for “Once Upon a Mattress” at WCT! ☆"Once Upon a Mattress” will run for three weekends, September 12 through September 26, 7 performances total, with two Sunday matinees. This comic musical was inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen fairytale “The Princess and the Pea”. Prepare 32 bars of a musical theater song that showcases your voice and personality. Please bring sheet music or your own accompaniment track on a phone or device. Wear clothing and footwear you can comfortably move in, as movement may be part of the audition process. Bring a current headshot or photo and resume is available. Bring a list of any rehearsal conflicts. Also, please bring a completed audition form, if possible. There is no pay, all roles are open and all ethnicities are encouraged to audition. This is a non-equity volunteer production. Auditions will be held July 6 and 7 at 7:00 pm. We are located in the Whittier Community Center at 7630 Washington Ave. Callbacks on Wednesday June 8. The performances will be in the adjoining 400-seat Whittier Center Theatre.
