Description: In this zany, warmhearted comedy play that inspired the recent Tony Award winning musical, Kimberly is a lonely 16-year-old girl suffering from a disease that causes her to age at more than four times the normal rate. Feeling trapped inside the frail physical body of an elderly woman, Kim meets Jeff, another young misfit at school, and an uncertain relationship develops between them. Soon her life goes “akimbo,” contending with a hypochondriac mother, a rarely sober father, a scam-artist aunt, her own mortality, and most terrifying of all, the possibility of first love.
