Description: LOVELY DAY FOR A BOATING TRIP is a triptych of plays about three lovely days and three not so lovely boating trips as three groups of people each set out in a rowboat with darkly comic results. In play one, a couple set out for open water with their marriage on the brink. Just how far would you trust your spouse? In play two, a bride tests the limits friendship as she tries to escape her wedding. And in play three, a man, his girlfriend, and his grandmother set out for a seemingly cozy picnic on a remote island. But what’s in all those heavy bags he’s bringing? | |
