Description: A musical that takes place in Trenton, NJ? Yes - and a delightfully funny one too! In I LOVE MY WIFE, the time is the mid-1970s and features a would-be ménage-à-quatre: two couples who want to plunge into liberated mutual sexuality. The husbands are Wally, a public relations man, and his friend Alvin, who’s in the furniture moving business. Their respective wives in this escapade are Monica and Cleo. They are supported by Stanley, Quentin, Harvey & Norman. All of them now in their late twenties and friends since childhood. This charming musical explores the themes of the sexual liberation, love, fidelity, and the dynamics of marriage. The question is whether there is a ménage-à quatre or not? | |
